She is a certified Yoga Therapist with 500 hours of yoga training, a music teacher, writer, songwriter, journalist. She has trained to teach yoga, music and mindfulness to families, babies and children with special needs. These classes are an amazing way to connect, share, dance and stretch with the entire family.

  • Art in the Park with Marie

    Marie Kolbert is a licensed pre-school teacher in her home country of Sweden, where she has been involved in arts her whole life. After playing soccer for the National Team in Sweden, she arrived in the U.S. on a soccer scholarship at Lynn University in Boca Raton in 1996. There she received her Bachelor of Arts in Visual Design. In 2000, she moved to Miami Beach where she still resides.

    Marie has been hosting her Art in the Park program at public parks around the city, and now the Miami Beach Botanical Garden welcomes Marie on the last Sunday of every month (unless a date change is indicated in the online calendar).

    Art plays an important role in children's lives, and this free program will give your children a chance for their creativity to soar! Toddlers up to eight year olds will enjoy creating something new each month out in the lawn under the shade of the Banyan tree. Supplies included, just bring your imagination!

    Marie Kolbert is a licensed pre-school teacher in her home country of Sweden, where she has been involved in arts her whole life. After playing soccer for the National Team in Sweden, she arrived in the U.S. on a soccer scholarship at Lynn University in Boca Raton in 1996. There she received her Bachelor of Arts in Visual Design. In 2000, she moved to Miami Beach where she still resides.

    Marie has been hosting her Art in the Park program at public parks around the city, and now the Miami Beach Botanical Garden welcomes Marie on the last Sunday of every month (unless a date change is indicated in the online calendar).

    Art plays an important role in children's lives, and this free program will give your children a chance for their creativity to soar! Toddlers up to eight year olds will enjoy creating something new each month out in the lawn under the shade of the Banyan tree. Supplies included, just bring your imagination!

Inese will present a informative seminar on the unique qualities of honey bees of South Florida, and an introduction to beelkeeping. There will be a demo hive at the presentation. The seminar wll be followed by a honey sale from Bush Farms:  "Diverse nectar sources are responsible for the variety in taste and color of our delicious honey. Depending on the season and the main flowering source, the honey taste and color changes with the seasons. Naturally, honey is full of vitamins, minerals, and pollen grains from these various blooms and, when consumed regularly, it helps with the allergies and strengthens the body’s immune system. Therefore, we do not pressure filter or heat our honey to ensure that all the beneficial properties are not lost."

    Marie Kolbert is a licensed pre-school teacher in her home country of Sweden, where she has been involved in arts her whole life. After playing soccer for the National Team in Sweden, she arrived in the U.S. on a soccer scholarship at Lynn University in Boca Raton in 1996. There she received her Bachelor of Arts in Visual Design. In 2000, she moved to Miami Beach where she still resides.

    Marie has been hosting her Art in the Park program at public parks around the city, and now the Miami Beach Botanical Garden welcomes Marie on the last Sunday of every month (unless a date change is indicated in the online calendar).

    Art plays an important role in children's lives, and this free program will give your children a chance for their creativity to soar! Toddlers up to eight year olds will enjoy creating something new each month out in the lawn under the shade of the Banyan tree. Supplies included, just bring your imagination!
