3rd Saturday Seminar RF Orchids-

Free seminar and orchid sale with Robert F. Fuchs, third-generation orchid grower, and president of R.F. Orchids, Inc., in Homestead, Florida, USA. Robert presents lectures to audiences around the world, and his articles have been published in many prestigious publications. He is an accredited American Orchid Society Judge, past president of the South Florida Orchid Society, life member of the AOS, and was President of the 19th World Orchid Conference, in 2008. He was inducted into the Florida Agriculture Hall of Fame in 2013, the first orchid grower to be so honored.

Second Saturday Seminar -Edible, Medicinal & Toxic Nightshades with Mike Heckart

Nightshades: A Quick (and painless) Introduction. Explore the Solanaceae, or nightshade family, which includes edible, medicinal, and toxic species...and some that are all three. Plants will be available for sale, including several that are virtually unknown outside their native range.Michael Heckart is a lifelong resident of South Florida and owner of Wicked Mike's, a small business specializing in rare edible and medicinal plants. His collection includes plants from every continent but Antarctica, including over 1,500 varieties of peppers.
