Garden Reiki, Restorative Yoga & Pure Sound Journey
with Franci Blanco & Lea Barsher
Join us for a deeply relaxing and nourishing restorative yoga practice led by our resident yoga teacher Franci, and personal Reiki tune-ups by Leah, and end with a soothing sound bath savasana.
We will move slowly through a series of restorative poses using bolsters to fully support your body in a comfortable and effortless way, as Leah comes around to offer personal reiki tune-ups throughout the practice. You will have time to relax deeply into each pose, promoting a profound sense of ease and letting go.
Recalibrate to a higher vibration, open energy channels to reestablish flow, and reconnect to your essence, intuition, and spiritual nature. May this be your sacred time to slow down, release, and harmonize your mind, body, and spirit. Doors will open at 6pm so that you can experience the garden in the peacefully quiet after hours while witnessing the aromas of the flowers coming to life. Please check in and reserve your spot inside the Banyan ballroom upon arrival. We will begin by grounding and setting intentions on the great lawn and then move inside to the large Banyan ballroom for our sound bath meditation.
Class begins at 6:30pm on the great lawn (10 minutes) and will then move into the Banyan Ballroom for Reiki and Restorative yoga. Garden gates will be locked at 6:40.
Bring a journal to write down any insights that came up during the practice while enjoying a complimentary cup of tea. There are a few mats available if needed. Please bring yoga blocks/cushions if you’d like a more restorative experience.
Parking is available at Miami Beach City Hall, Lincoln Road Mall Parking, and if you are lucky, right next to the garden.
What is Reiki?
Rei = spiritual consciousness
Ki= the energy of life
Reiki is a gentle and therapeutic Japanese healing art that opens channels to reestablish flow and harmonizes the mind, body, and spirit. Reiki fills the body with high-vibrational energy, and can help dissolve blocks and negative patterns. Many experience stress reduction, reprieve from physical discomfort, emotional release, sensitization to subtle energies, opening of the heart, empowerment, guidance, and reconnection to your higher purpose, intuition, and spiritual nature. Reiki is a research-based, complementary alternative medicine (CALM) that works in conjunction with medical and therapeutic care to expedite healing and recovery.
