Forest Bathing: Gathering for Gratitude

November 24 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

A Unique Opportunity to Connect and Give Back

About the Experience

As we move gently through the garden, you’ll be invited to find your own rhythm, connect deeply with the environment, and cultivate a sense of awe. Forest bathing offers scientifically-backed benefits, including stress reduction, enhanced creativity, and fostering feelings of gratitude and well-being. This experience will leave you feeling grounded, inspired, and more deeply connected to yourself, others, and the earth.

To close our experience, we’ll gather for a special Earth Gratitude Catcher Activity. You’ll have the opportunity to inscribe messages of thankfulness on native Seagrape leaves, which will be woven into a communal Earth Gratitude Catcher. This beautiful, evolving artwork symbolizes unity and our interconnectedness with the earth—a perfect way to honor the season of gratitude.

Benefits of Forest Bathing

  • Emotional Well-being: Fosters connection, trust, compassion, and psychological integration, encouraging flow and expanded perception.
  • Mental Health: Reduces anxiety and depression, decreases stress, enhances creativity and focus, and supports relaxation and mindfulness.
  • Physical Health: Lowers heart rate, boosts immunity, reduces inflammation, and improves sleep and recovery.
