Poetry in Pajamas

Put on your favorite PJs and join us for the 8th Annual Poetry in Pajamas!

Under a sparkling crescent moon at the enchanting Miami Beach Botanical Garden, passionate poet Aria is joined by new co-hosts Elijah and Ada to host a magical open mic for children. Kids of all ages are invited to recite their favorite poem, original or published, before an audience of pajama-clad peers—all beneath dreamy decor by The InterKnit.

Beyond the mic, kids can explore an interactive Mad Arts installation featuring immersive poetry technology and dance along with a live performance by Miami’s own Afrobeta. Kids can also engage in sensory play at an activation by Wonder Play! The Sensory Sonnet Soiree is a sensory-friendly poetry experience designed for kids on the autism spectrum and anyone else who may enjoy it.

Plus, attendees are invited to browse our by kids, for kids market, indulge in fresh crêpes, and enjoy wholesome treats from Edible South Florida’s healthy snack table for kids.
