Volunteer Orientation at MBBG Community Composting Hub  

For the Miami Composting Community – Many of you have been asking us to start a formal volunteer program that teaches the ins and outs of our composting process as well as allowing for more hands-on and consistent relationships with this incredible soil amendment.

We’re happy to announce our very first volunteer orientation, taking place at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden! Interested individuals will need to commit to a minimum of 4 hours monthly (does not have to be consecutive) and participate in our safety orientation.

In addition to the diverse world of compost, consistent volunteers will have the opportunity to support educational workshops, help with native and edible plant propagation, and other civic-minded endeavors.
